Welcome to the home of Gooitzen  and  Tineke

Let us introduce ourselves.

I am Gooitzen, the man in the house. My studies are theology. My hobby : jobs in and around the house.

And I am Tineke, the lady of the house, and I have as hobbies the frisian language, reading of horror stories and gardening. But my vocation is feministic theology, that is to show that language and liturgy in the church and the Bible are merely a male profession is utterly wrong. Through the ages theology has been a theology of men, but since the seventies many people discovered that possibly "there is more in the Bible than we see" and the fascination about feministic theology is that different views have come to life.   Interested ?   I like to come into contact with people in the same frame of mind. We have three children of which only our son Simon is living in. His hobbies are tabletennis, the designing of webpages and designing graphics on the computer. He follows a computer education in Ljouwert (Leeuwarden, Leward)

The farmhouse of Gooitzen and Tineke was built in 1825 maybe even before that. Before 1825 there stood another building in which a mr Pieter Gerrits from Ljussens (Lioesens) lived who, according a record in 1801 closed up half a chimney in order to pay less tax. His properties were noted to be : property, 1 chimney, 7 cows, 1 rier (whatever that is), 1 horse and 6.36 acres of sown in land.   We live here since 1985.
